When you stop climbing
ClimbVelocityApplier will work what velocity it should apply based on movement you made with controllers (throwing yourself) and multiplier (static value).
That Element 0 value - is what get's calculated (movement you do with controllers)
Element 1 - is static multiplier
Code wise that value comes from
VRTK.Prefabs.Interactions.Interactables.Climb.ClimbInteractableConfigurator.OnStopEventProxyEmitted which in turn calls
Facade.ClimbFacade is actually what you're climbing on, not your
Body so for me I was climing on
/Environment//Buildings//WindMill//ClimbingElements//ClimbableLegs/Climbable.Interactable and needed to adjust
PS: for whatever reason (might be I turned it off) my
/VRTK Prefabs//Locomotion//BodyActions//BodyCollisions/BodyRepresentation was disabled, make sure it's on otherwise added velocity will not be processed.
