Disclaimer: I know very little about making custom Editor drawers, etc.
In working with Tilia/VRTK, there are times that I want to make some alterations to an existing script, and since its in a package, it makes sense to create a new script with a similar name, copy the contents of the existing one, then make my modifications. The problem is that most of the public variables will not show in the editor like they do for the original script.
For example, I created a script in Assets called ContinuousObjectDistanceComparator.cs based on the Zinnia ObjectDistanceComparator.cs, then I copied all the internal code from one into the other without modification. It saves and compiles fine, but in the Editor the Source and Target variables are not exposed. This class doesn't seem to have a custom Editor drawer that I can find, so why aren't these variables showing?
